PC Games Archives -- a few good sites to check out. The archives date back to Windows 3.x days and include shareware from many companies, some of which have since gone out of business or merged with other companies. PC Games - Other Sites. Some of the companies that were originally part of the PC Games Archives now have their own websites and have created an area where you can download their old games. Realms of Despair, Free Windows 3.x client for the Realms of Despair Multi-User Dungeon (MUD).

The Rogue's Quest Home Page, Netherlands. This game is a Windows graphical version of Rogue, a classic DOS-based RPG. It's a fun game if you don't mind losing over and over (and over) again. IMO, kind of a frustrating way to kill time, but everyone has their own quirks.
