How They Train

Warning: Please keep in mind that the times and volume run in these workouts is being done by individuals who have built up to these perspective levels of effort through years of training and conditioning. Their workouts are posted to give the viewer an idea of the type of work being done by individuals at the top of their sport. Anyone attempting to replicate any of the workouts listed below does so at their own risk, and the author suggests that all workouts be modified to suit each person's individual ability. In other words, don't be an idiot and go out and try and run a workout that a former Olympian did at the top of his or her game, if you're hoping to break 10 minutes for two miles this spring. Use common sense! With that being said, Enjoy! It is my hope to continue adding to the list.
