1000's of Photographas and other Images for Sale -
If you are looking to visit an antique shop with several thousand early photos, including many boxes of stereoviews, and great vintage cameras, please take a trip to B&J Antique Mall in Dillsburg Pennsylvania. Dillsburg is about 10 miles south of the State capitol - Harrisburg in the center of the state. Dillsburg is about 20 miles north of Gettysburg Pennsylvania. The shop is on Route 15 several miles south of Dillsburg. Just go to Dillsburg and head south until you get to Franklin Church Road and turn left. The Shop is in an old barn and is visible for Route 15.

The shop has no crafts - only antiques and collectible items. Great for all collectors.

I am interested in stereoviews and other photographs related to Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. Of course, I also look for the battlefield images that were produced for the tourists in the post-civil war period. Finally, my last name is Sherfy, and, I am a decendent of the Sherfy family that lived at the Sherfy House battlefield monument on the Emmitsburg road. The Sherfy's owned the Peach Orchard and suffered quite a bit of damage during the battle. As you can probably guess, I am interested in any information, items, stereoviews, and regular images that relate to the Sherfy family and the Sherfy House battlefield monument.

Other images that I am looking for are those by Peter Weaver of Hanover, Pennsylvania. I want to buy stereoviews of the Gettysburg, Hanover, and other central Pennsylvania areas by Weaver.

SHERFY HOUSE & PEACH ORCHARD STEREOVIEWS

I collect Gettysburg Sherfy House and Sherfy Peach orchard images - Below are some of the great vintage photos I have accumulated with a couple of recent acquisitions.  They were all made from between 1870 and 1885-ish.

****This is the best view of the Sherfy House I have seen – has the Peach cannery building behind.  Probably taken in 1885-ish: HERE.
