For more than a three decades
RWAM has been engaged in representing some of the world's finest
instrumental soloists and ensembles. It has especially sought
out major talent from the continent which it was able to make
available to U.S. sponsors before their fees became prohibitive
to the majority of the more discriminating presentors of solo
artists and chamber music, with their limited memberships and
budgets.
Some examples of this have been the first American
tours of Vienna's Franz Schubert Quartet and JESS Trio, Budapest's
Kodály and Eder Quartets, the UK's Lindsay Quartet, Prague's
Kocian, Vlach and Martinu Quartets, and the Czech Trio. In addition,
over the years the management has been responsible for having
more than 20 major chamber music series get started and helping
to sustain them, some now in their second decade of existence,
including those in Trenton, NJ, Tarpon Springs, FL, Augusta, GA,
Key West, FL, etc.
Orchestral tours have been no less remarkable, including
the American debuts of the Zagreb Philharmonic (including Carnegie
Hall), the Polish National Radio Symphony (including Avery
Fisher Hall), the Ensemble Instrumental de France, the Slovak
Sinfonietta, the Slovak Symphony, the Bohemian Chamber Philharmonic,
the Brno Chamber Orchestra, the Pilsen Philharmonic, and the Brno
Chamber Soloists.
