An evening of absolutely stunning transparency and seeing, especially after the moon set. Of course, the Fates were not content with that and the amount of plane and train traffic was the highest I've ever seen. Toss in a pretty fair amount of meteor traffic (4-5 bolides with one explosion along with more general streaks) and you have the makings of an interesting astronomy shoot.
