Most of the following honors and awards were earned during the past 10 years during my tenure as Executive Director of the Colorado Advanced Technology Institute (CATI)
- Listed in "Who's Who" in High Technology, Telecommunications and Media, by the Denver Business Journal in 1998, 1997, and 1996.
- "Outstanding Service and Dedication" Award from the Colorado Venture Centers, Inc., October 6, 1997.
- "Special Honors" Award for sustaining public impact, by the Boulder Technology Incubator Board of Directors, June 3, 1997.
- Recipient of the 1997 Technology Transfer Award from the Colorado Chapter of the Technology Transfer Society, recognizing the public official deemed most supportive of technology transfer.
- Received Commendation through a Legislative Bill of Proclamation praising CATI's performance. This Bill was sponsored by every one of the 33 State Senators in Colorado, 1996.
- Listed in "Who's Who" in Denver Business, by the Denver Business Journal in 1995, and 1994.
- Awarded an "honorable membership" in ICNS-SOMA by the Inaugural Committee of the World League ICNS-SOMA in the Hague, Holland for international performance in Tokyo, Japan.
- Awarded "Certificate of Completion" for the 13th Japan Study Program for International Executives (JASPIE), 1994.
- Award for nomination as "Entrepreneur of the Year" by the Entrepreneur of the Year Institute, 1994.

- Member of the New York Academy of Sciences.
- Member of the Newcomen Society.
- Appointment as a Newcomb Fellow at the University of Virginia, 1964.
