I was a Senior Securities Analyst there, with responsibilites to follow high tech companies as to the investment merit of their stock. In this position, I visited with the senior management of many important companies in the emerging industries of semiconductors, precision instruments, and photo-optical products. I prepared industry reports and recommended stocks to be purchased by Dominick & Dominick clients. At that time these reports were distributed to a wide network of associated brokerage firms all around the U.S., which would return a part of the commissions generated by these reports to Dominick & Dominick. I traveled extensively to visit the management of the high tech firms and the institutional clients of the associated firms.
