13. George Morton (1585-1624), Separatist who joined the Plymouth Colony. Sailed on the Speedwell, a companion to the Mayflower which turned back. He married Juliana Carpenter on July 23 - Aug. 2, 1612 in Leyden, Holland. She was described as being from Bath, England. They came to Plymouth on the Anne, in 1623 with Juliana's sister Alice (Carpenter) Southworth, the widow of Sir Edward Southworth. Alice was coming to marry Gov. William Bradford (1589-1657) of the Plymouth Colony.
