- Pieter Middagh (1700-1790), Freeholder in Somerset County NJ and a member of the NJ Legislature 1754.

Brief Biography:

Catalyntje Pieterse Van Neste*; bap. May 3, 1672 in New Amsterdam. She is known variously as "Catalyn", "Catherine", etc. and her surname is also often seen as "Van Nest". Her father, Pieter Pietersen Van Nest was born in 1625 and died on Mar 20, 1697. He settled in an area of what is now Central Bronx in New York City in 1647. The neighborhood where he settled is now known as the Van Nest neighboorhood, and it contains Van Nest Park.
