LESSON OBJECTIVES:

Provide overview of course
Introduce and discuss environmental factors, threats, and basic terrain flying concepts.
Develop airflow visualization skills.
Review selected private pilot technical topics in light of mountain flying considerations.
Increase proficiency in flight at minimum airspeeds, stall recoveries, emergency descents and accuracy landings.
Introduce and practice basic terrain flying.
