Gregory Smith



       On a recent visit to Columbus, Ohio I came across an article in The Columbus Dispatch about one Greg Smith. ( see also CNN article about Greg Smith and London Times article ) As he prepares to enter graduate school this fall Greg Smith, who celebrated his fourteenth birthday June 9 , graduated from high school at age 10, graduated cum laude and phi beta kappa from Randolph-Macon College at 13, and was nominated for the Nobel Peace prize in both 2002 and 2003. The word prodigy was invented for this kid.
       lets see ... im a fortysomething college dropout who has never done anything the world at large would be interested in ... i spend my free time hacking away at this computer creating these profiles which very few people read and even fewer care about ... hmmmm ... i hope the little bugger flunks out ... well not really ... its hard not to be a little envious ... i really wish him well as if hes going to need my best wishes
