Franciszka Katarzyna Lica was born on March 29, 1868 in Berent, Kreis Berent, West Prussia (Koscierzyna, Poland), the daughter of Michal Lica and Katarzyna Orlikowska. She was baptized on March 31, 1868 in Berent (Koscierzyna.) Her patrons (godparents) were Franciszek Persza and Rozalia Glock. She arrived in the United States sometime in 1882. She married Michal Januszewski on August 04, 1890 at St. Hedwig Catholic Church in Chicago. Together they had at least six children; Adam, John, Marianna, Adolph, Stephen and Henry. She died on January 17, 1949 in Chicago from carcinoma of the kidney. She was buried on January 21, 1949 at Polish National All Saints Cemetery in Park Ridge.
