Since you may read a copy of my long paper, "Key Chapters
and Sections of:
A Human Ethogram, Its Scientific Acceptability and Importance", I believe
it is
important to inform you of editorial or typing errors which might cause
confusion.
The paper contains 5 errors which are noteworthy. The 3 that are most
serious are:
(1)
On page 36, line 2 should read:
"... best viewed as prototypical type one (independent) taxis behaviors
and ... "
(2)
On page 83, line 3 should read:
" ... -haviors or between the environment and some other adaptive
capacities of ... "
(3)
On page 130, line 4 of the first paragraph should read:
"... conflict can be said to occur when conflictING drives (innate action
... "
PLEASE MAKE THESE CORRECTIONS: these errors are possible causes of
confusion. Two other errors (which are rather embarrassing) are:
(4)
In the "Author's Preface," sentence 2 should be two sentences (phrases
were omitted). It should read:
"But, in fact, it stands very well as it is. The Chapters and Sections
herein indicate the nature of the problem with many modern theoretical
assumptions."
(5)
Page 38, the last sentence of full paragraph 2 is missing phrases and should
be two sentences. They should be:
"For one, it would be best if we could abide by the principle of homeostasis
in all our interpretations. This clearly seems to be a general biological
principle
of all organismic functioning and would seem necessarily applicable."
