Stevie Ray Vaughan was one of best blues players to come out of the Austin club scene. That's saying a lot when you think of all the great musicians that have come out of the "Music Capitol of the World".

Stevie Ray Vaughan stood for honest music with a fire that few musicians could match. His music almost single-handedly brought blues back to the mainstream reviving the careers of many of the all time blues greats. Stevie Ray spoke many times on how important he thought it was for the public to appreciate these sometimes forgotten musicians. They will not forget Stevie Ray Vaughan and the world will not forget him either.
