My NorthStar Horizon is currently equipped with three cards:

• ZPB-A2 Z-80A Processor Board (North Star Computers)
• MDS-AD3 Micro Disk Controller (North Star Computers)
• DM 6400 64k RAM (Measurement Systems and Controls)

The North Star Horizon is one of a number of CP/M computers built around the S-100 bus. In addition to the basic S-100 bus the motherboard also contained the circuitry to support two serial and two parallel ports. On unusual of the North Star Horizon is the case which has a metal base, front and back, but the cover for the top and sides is made of wood. It looks like a typical piece of home stereo equipment from the late 70s.
