The current configuration on my CoCo 2 is:
The CoCo 2 is a computer that I am particularly fond of, it was my third computer, and the first that I bought on my own. This is the machine that was responsible for much of my computer background. I wrote many of my CS projects in college on this machine under OS-9. The clock speed for this machine is pretty deceptive as it actually runs about half again as fast as a 4.77MHz 8086 based PC-compatible. The notable lack of hardware in this machines configuration is due to it getting what has been superseded on both of my CoCo 3s.
This machine is is built from off the shelf components (although some of the are no longer available). All the major components are Motorola chips. The main components are an MC6809E CPU, 2-MC6821 PIA, an MC6847 VDG, and an MC6883L SAM.
