There are pro's and con's for throw-away cameras. The pros are: as good as the photographer might be with people, there is special energy that occurs among friends. Therefore, you might get some very honest images from using the throw-aways. The down side of this is: if a young child gets hold of the camera and starts shooting to see the flash go off, you can end up spending a lot of money to get pictures of people's feet, the walls, etc. Sometimes people walk away with the cameras by mistake. If you decide to use them, label them with the table number, and assign somebody from your wedding party or family to collect them towards the end of the reception. Also, calculate beforehand how much the cameras and processing will cost you, and see if it is better to dedicate that money towards buying the higher quality pictures from your photographer.
