It's not necessary to worry about what film the photographer uses. After you have seen the photographer's work, you should be able to tell if they have a good grasp of film choices. The images should not be faded, or have a green, blue, or red tint. Fuji and Kodak are two papers and film sources used by many photographers. I use a pro lab to process my work, and the prints are archival quality. I prefer to use Fuji film and paper.
