The photographer you choose does not necessarily need to use a medium format camera. With today's technology in cameras and film, a 135mm camera can still provide you with great images. Most of your images will not be printed larger than 11x14 inches. Therefore, when I use a 135mm camera with pro equipment (ie pro camera bodies and lenses), I can achieve very good images. Because of it's portability, a 135mm camera is actually preferable to capture action-filled scenes on your wedding day.
