Affiliate Fever has spread like wildfire over the Web. As a website owner, you now have the opportunity to join with merchants and promote their services and products on your web site in return for commissions based on a number of different factors. In addition, many programs allow you to make commissions based on the results of other affiliates that you have referred, resulting in a tier structure which greatly increases the amount of compensation to you. Get Paid To Surf (GPTS)

A GPTS Program is almost a guaranteed moneymaker, because it is entirely in your hands to surf the web and get paid for it. If you pick the right program, you surf, you get paid, it's that simple. That said, to make any serious money, you'll need to refer others to the program and get credit for the amount of time they spend surfing to get paid. Plus, with a good program you'll get paid on those that are referred to the program from those that you've referred, some as far as seven levels deep. You can see by doing the math, that there is good potential here.

Where to Start
Before you sign up with any GPTS program, first sign up with RefMaker. This is yet another layer for you to make money and will help promote other programs to your referrals. SIGN UP WITH AllAdvantage. If you only do one GPTS program this is the one! AllAdvantage is the oldest (started 3/99), the biggest (over 2 million members), and the best funded  ($33,000,000) company, the mother of them all. They are also one of the only companies that have already sent out actual checks to their members. AllAdvantage pays $0.50/hour, plus you get $0.10/hour for direct referrals and $0.05/hour for 4 levels of indirect referrals. THREE OTHER programs I recommend (this will change as things settle out so check back frequently):

GetPaid4 (TeknoSurf) pays based on advertising revenue they receive. You get 70% of their revenue, and 10%-1% for seven levels of referrals. 75 payable hours per month. One of the things I like best about this program is that you do not have to be surfing the Web to get paid. As long as you are connected to the Internet, your adbar remains active. That means you can do other things, such as write an email, work on a spreadsheet, or even play games, and still get paid.

Spedia is one of the better GPTS programs. It pays internationally. You earn money by surfing and reading email. They pay $0.48/hour for yourself, and 25% of your direct referrals' earnings. There's no limit on payable hours.

Epipo is one of the older companies. Their payrates are among the best: $0.60/hour for yourself, and $0.10/hour for five levels of referrals.
