Conjunto Clasico is a New York band know for its inovative use of the tres. The tres players Charlie Rodriguez, Oscar Rios, Jose Garcia and Ivan (Palomita) Conde have been featured on their albums. Between 1979 and 1990, Clásico released 11 albums on their own Lo Mejor Records label. Their most recent recording is from 1996.
