Fall Comdex is supposed to be a computer show, but Las Vegas has a way
of warping even the best intentions. These photos are from 1996.
I saw this troupe as I walked into the Las Vegas Hilton. Count 'em:
four Elviras, four Elvises and four Einsteins on hand to promote a company
called E4. A group of elves arrived shortly thereafter (I kid you not).
Samsung, with help from Vogue magazine, sponsored a fashion show inside the exhibit hall. This was the opening act, a trio of roller skaters offering a musical tribute to Samsung's laptop computers.
Can you say "kitsch"?
