M80 - Globular Cluster in Scorpius
A small but bright cluster, discovered nearly simultaneously by Messier and Mechain.

After passage of a cold front and coverage of the area by an unusually cold and stable airmass for this time of year, I decided to shoot this cluster while warming up for the main event, M20.
