The EL450 Segment Chuck uses (8) segments to form a 17.7 inch diameter segmented wheel. The chuck is rated for a maximum 1,243 rpm spindle speed. The 63.5 square inches of abrasive surface area offers maximum grinding efficiency for lower horsepower (under 40 hp) machines. The chuck was originally designed for an Ecotech M7574B vertical spindle grinder, but can be modified for use with a No.18 Blanchard with an adapter plate (not supplied). The chuck is manufactured by SMTW of China, and is usually available from stock.
