Knots, knots, and more knots!
The designs in this chart pack include knot motifs with roots in Celtic knotwork with a dash of Art Nouveau influence. All designs included in the chart pack are finished in ways for use and display around the home. Included in the pattern are a tablerunner, two placemats, a tablecloth, coasters, a large knot to be used as an insert for Sudberry House tray, and an alternate color scheme for the large knot that can be used as a pillowtop or tray insert.
Stitched on Bone Lugana 32 from Zweigart, this large knot design is shown used as an insert for a Square Classic Tray from Sudberry House. The model was stitched with Anchor floss and Kreinik #4 metallic braids. A pastel color variation is also offered for this motif stitched on Antique White Lugana 28 as a pillowtop.
The placemats and tablerunner shown were stitched with Anchor floss and Kreinik #8 metallic braids on shades of Vienna cloth from Zweigart.
The tablecloth and coasters shown were stitched with Anchor floss on Cream Belinda cloth from Zweigart. The green knot motif has been repeated within the bordered squares of Belinda cloth for a tablecloth. The blue and rose versions of the motif have been finished to use as doilies or coasters.
