Summary:
Trace amounts of Plutonium can be found in uranium ores as a result of natural synthesis by neutron bombardment of uranium, otherwise, it is artificially synthesized. Plutonium is extremely poisonous because of its radioactivity and its ability to be absorbed into bone marrow. Plutonium is formed as a waste product of uranium fission reactors.
