MSI is a woman owned, small Connecticut
corporation that provides a line of logistics products (software and hardware)
initially developed for the U.S. Intelligence community that are widely
in use today. Our product line is a collection of modules, each tailored
to a specific logistics area of responsibility, e.g., Order Processing,
Access Control, Receiving, Shipping, etc.
All msi software has been developed using Oracle Developer 2000, and runs on any platform supported by Oracle. The Total Asset Visibility (TAVTM) Data Base is an implementation that takes full advantage of Oracle's integrity constraint features to harden it against an adversarial world. Our systems are designed to fulfill the needs of material distribution on all levels, both internal and external. Based on the organization's size and distribution needs, we determine the appropriate hardware required, provide the software to implement and manage the system, and integrate and install the final systems. We currently offer integration with both Sun and PC based computer platforms; e.g., SOLARIS, Windows NT, etc. Current products interface and support industry-specific hardware such as mailing systems, scanners (which may incorporate automatic feeders, as needed), portable handheld scanners and portable pen terminals. |
