Welcome! Thanks for
visiting. The purpose of this site is to keep you informed of the
exciting things happening in our class and to provide information
that will help each of you support your child in his/her education
at David M. Cox Elementary.
- Announcements: Our next field trip
is October 29, 2009. We are going to Red Springs at Red Rock
Canyon to learn about the water cycle and it's impact on our
climate and weather.
- Students will eat at the picnic area and will
take a sack lunch.

The school will not
provide lunch for the students. We will return at 1:00 p.m. in
time for our Halloween Party. At 2:30 the Monster Parade will
start.

What will we learn on
the field trip? The title of our ranger led tour is called Water
We Doing Here? Students will learn that water plays an important
